About Me!

I was impressed by a knife that had been made by my father-in-law and decided that this was something I wanted to do.

As someone with no previous woodworking experience the thought of being able to make something like that I had seen was like a dream. 

I enrolled on a course in Kristiansand and everything began from there.  I now live in Kristiansund, with my wife and 2 daughters, and make brukskniver ( everyday knives) in my spare time. I am also a member of Kenshinkai Shotokan Karate club which is based in England

I buy most of my blades from Steen Nielsen .  They are of great quality and add a little finesse to the finished product.  If desired I can obtain stainless steel blades, but these are of the type that are mass-produced.

The knives are of a good quality and if looked after will last a long time.
